In celebration of the October 19 beatification, I prepared a banner in honor of the saintly parents of the Little Flower. The banner is decorated with some symbols: (1) five flowers in one corner (although one was hidden by the lily!) signifying the five surviving daughters who all became religious nuns (2) four flowers signifying the children who died in early childhood (3) a lily to recall their marital chastity (4) a palm signifying the spiritual martyrdom they had to endure and finally, (5) a radiant star pointing out to them as a shining example of holiness for our age.
Yep. And you did a wonderful research on her last year. You might want to read up on them too. My bias for everything Therese aside, astig talaga silang mag-asawa!
